Packed with cultural highlights (Carmona’s Roman gates and panoramic views), rolling olive groves, baroque towns like Osuna, and peaceful rural stretches around La Puebla de Cazalla and Morón de la Frontera, it’s a varied blast of big skies, history and open plains – ideal for warming up on fast roads, soaking in the scenery, and cooling down on the return without the intensity of high mountains.

Route Breakdown & Highlights

• Seville → North-East on A-8005
  Quick, wide dual-carriageway escape past suburbs and early farmland – straightforward and stress-free.
• A-8005 → East to Carmona
  Turn towards the dramatic hilltop town – Roman necropolis, Alcázar gate and stunning Guadalquivir valley views. Perfect first stop for photos and a strong café con leche.
• Carmona → Osuna
  Flowing roads through endless olive groves and sunflower fields (seasonal). Osuna’s hilltop old town and baroque collegiate church are worth a quick wander.
• Osuna → La Puebla de Cazalla (SE-452A)
  Quieter secondary road south-east – classic white village vibes, emerging vineyards, and peaceful rural scenery.
• La Puebla de Cazalla → Morón de la Frontera (SE-7204)
  Smooth, undulating tarmac through open farmland – big skies and a touch of flamenco heritage in Morón’s charming old quarter.
• Morón de la Frontera → Alcalá (A-360)
  Wide A-road north-west – easy cruising with long straights and gentle bends past more olive orchards.
• Alcalá → Seville
  Familiar wide roads back into the city in golden-hour light – perfect for winding down.
