- Start: Hotel → N-634 west (5 min) – warm-up along the Eo estuary.
- Playa de las Catedrales (As Catedrais) – 10km from hotel. Arrive early (low tide only!); park at the top, 5-min walk down to the natural gothic arches, sea caves and rock cathedrals. One of the planet’s most photographed beaches – sunrise light is insane.
- Foz & Mirador del Cantábrico – Blast the spectacular LU-862 coastal road (pure Galician Costa Verde sweepers) to Foz. Quick coffee stop at Mirador O Canto – 180° views over cliffs and crashing Atlantic.
- Café & pastel de cabracho: Cafetería O Xardín (Reinantes) – terrace right above the waves; try the local fish pâté on toast with a café con leche.
- Castropol (Asturias) – Cross the stunning Eo estuary bridge (you’ll want to stop mid-bridge for photos). Descend into the beautiful Asturian village of Castropol; park at the port for pics of colourful houses and ría reflections.

- Vegadeo & Taramundi detour – Take the tiny AS-26 up through eucalyptus forests (twisty heaven) to the Mirador del Eo valley, then drop back down to Ribadeo via the old N-640 with estuary views the whole way.
- Finish sunset: Mirador de A Falda (5 min from hotel) – park the bike, crack an Estrella Galicia and watch the sun explode over the ría and the Playa de las Catedrales from above.
- Finish: Hotel Eo – Secure garden parking, then straight to the rooftop hot tubs with panoramic views of the exact roads you just conquered.

Pros (+) The hotel allowed us to park our motorbike securely in the front garden which was gated and locked at night time for a small cost. This is a great value hotel which at first glance does seem a little dated inside, but it was spotlessly clean and provided everything we needed. We arrived a little early & so were given the option to upgrade at a small cost to a fabulous, big room with a fab view of the estuary and the pool at the back of the hotel! The location was good and just a 10 – 15 min walk to the town. We didn’t eat there so can’t comment on that. The lady on reception was really friendly and so was the owner as they waved us off the next day through the front window! Really good value for money and would recommend. It is right next to a Parador where we stayed last year, but I would definitely stay at the E-Hotel again at the fraction of the cost.
